Studio Motherhood & Breastfeeding Session

There is nothing more strong and powerful than a mom. That’s why I loved getting to shoot some Mom & Baby studio photo sessions recently at West Studio in Ferndale, MI. These photos are raw, beautiful, and vulnerable, a perfect picture of what being a new mom looks like. I love how simple the photos are but they carry a powerful message, with Heather breastfeeding her daughter.

As a mom myself, I know how hard it can be to get in a photo with your child, but I promise it is worth it. I love that Heather will have these photos forever and be able to show her daughter this moment in time in which she nourished her with her own body. Photos like these will be passed down for generations. Thank you, Heather, for allowing me to capture these for you.
