wedding photos but make it art
My photography style is photojournalistic meets editorial. It's artful storytelling for those who value experiences over things, intentional details, and adventure over perfection.
I want the portraits to embody the personalities of the couple, and I also want everyone involved to enjoy the process. As much as I want to create award-winning art, my priority will always be my clients. Yes, we'll get the kinds of photos you'd find in a magazine, but it's equally important to capture the moments the Mother of the Bride will hang in her hallway.
I strive for emotive, vibrant, chic and modern photographs that will be treasured for generations. This will be part of your legacy, after all.
More than just your photographer
You’ll gain a friend that helps plan the best day of your life.
From helping select locations and outfits to providing unique ways to make your wedding day match your relationship as a couple, I truly want the best for you.
When we work as a team to get the details right, your photos will turn out amazing because you’ve planned a day that feels authentic to you.
experiences over things
Photographer for people who like to do things a little different on their wedding day. Maybe you’re wearing an embroidered veil, saying no to a wedding party, having your dog as the ring bearer. These tiny details are intentional and make your wedding day feel like you.
For the people who value experiences over material items. Listen, I’ve got a pretty boujee side but at my core I’m all about connection. I will absolutely take a few extra minutes during detail shots to give your Manolo Blahnik’s the kind of attention they deserve. But the photojournalistic images I take of you and your guests are going to be the ones that make your eyes well up. If you’re nodding your head to that, we’ll get along just fine.
Artful storytelling isn't important to everyone, but it's important to you. Have peace of mind knowing the in-between moments you care about most will be documented and treasured for generations.
what makes me different?
I have 8+ years of production experience. Meaning I treat your photography experience the same way I treated clients with million-dollar marketing budgets.
Giving back to the community matters to me. I do one pro-bono session per quarter for a group/mission that is close to my heart. Most recently these have been for foster families, LGBTQ, infertility groups, and postpartum resources.
I feel that it’s incredibly important to practice leave-no-trace on adventures. If we do a champagne pop, let’s make sure we throw away the cork. Gotta take care of Mother Nature.
I know how to make people feel comfortable. I can read the room and make sure everyone is enjoying the experience so spouses and kids actually look forward to getting their picture taken.
more than a photo shoot
Together, we’ll focus on what truly matters and create your dream wedding day experience. This is your day, and it’s not just about the photos.
